The Wet One Isn't Afraid of the Rain
Once upon a time, Cunning Peter went to the forest to gather firewood. In the forest, he got caught in a heavy rain, but he still chopped the wood and headed home, dreaming only of settling by the warm hearth and having dinner. When he, cold and exhausted, opened the door to his house, his wife met him on the threshold, holding empty buckets in her hands:
"Go fetch some water, Peter," said his wife. "Because of the rain, I haven't left the house today. There's no water at all, I couldn't even prepare dinner. And you're already soaked, and a wet man doesn't fear the rain!"
Peter got angry, but without saying a word, he took the buckets and went to the well. When he returned, his wife was lounging by the hearth. He walked up to her and poured both buckets of water over her. Then he handed her the yoke and the empty buckets and said:
"Go, wife, fetch some water. Now you're soaked too, and you won't fear the rain!"
