The Three Lazy Ones
A certain king kept three lazy men on display. There was no one lazier in the whole world than them. One day, they were lying in the garden in the shade under a tree. The branches with ripe pears were bending all the way to the ground.
"Ah, if only a pear would fall right into my mouth!" said one lazy man.
"If only it would fall without the stem—it would be easier to eat!" dreamed the other.
"And aren't you too lazy to open your mouths and wag your tongues?" asked the third.
