Poppies from Artsakh

Maki from Artsakh arrived in Khndzoresk with his four camels. He was looking for a place to spend the night for his camels. In the village, he met Loti.

"Brother, do you know anyone with a large yard where I could leave my camels for the night?"

"I do," replied Loti. "Saki's yard is very large; it can accommodate ten camels, and Saki himself is a hospitable man."

Maki barely managed to find Saki's house.

"Brother Saki! Brother Saki!" Maki shouted from the gorge near Saki's house.

"I hear you," Saki replied from the porch of his house.

"Would you allow me to leave my camels in your yard for the night?"

"Why not? You're most welcome; we are happy to have guests. Follow the path past the spring up to my house. If there's space in my yard, bring as many as ten camels," Saki answered.
