The Invincible Rooster

Whether it happened or not, there once lived a rooster. This rooster was rummaging through the trash and found a gold coin. He flew up to the roof and crowed:
"Cock-a-doodle-doo, I found money!"

The king heard this and ordered his viziers to go take the gold and bring it to him.
The viziers went, took the gold, and brought it to the king.
The rooster crowed:
"Cock-a-doodle-doo, the king has stolen my wealth!"
The king handed the gold coin back to the viziers and said:
"Take it, give it back, or else this rascal will shame me before the whole world!"

The viziers went and returned the gold to the rooster. The rooster flew back up to the roof and crowed:
"Cock-a-doodle-doo, the king is afraid of me!"
The king grew angry and ordered his viziers:
"Go," he said, "seize this rascal, cut off his head, cook him, and serve him to me. I will eat him and be rid of him!"

The viziers went, grabbed the rooster, and carried him off, while he crowed:
"Cock-a-doodle-doo, the king has invited me as a guest!"
They slaughtered the rooster, put him in a pot, and were about to cook him.
The rooster wouldn’t stop:
"Cock-a-doodle-doo, the king sent me to a hot bath!"
They cooked the rooster, brought him, and set him before the king.

The rooster crowed:
"I’m sitting at the table with the king! Cock-a-doodle-doo!"
The king grabbed the rooster and swallowed him. The rooster was already in the king’s throat, but he kept crowing:
"I’m walking down a narrow street! Cock-a-doodle-doo!"

The king saw that the rooster still wouldn’t quiet down. He ordered his viziers to draw their sabers and stand ready. If the rooster crowed again, they were to strike.

The viziers drew their sabers and stood ready: one on one side, the other on the opposite side.
The rooster reached the king’s stomach and crowed again:
"I lived in the bright world, now I’ve entered the dark kingdom! Cock-a-doodle-doo!"
"Strike!" ordered the king.
The viziers struck and split the king’s belly open. The rooster jumped out, ran, flew up to the roof, and crowed:
"Cock-a-doodle-doo!" Fairy girl
