The Golden Coin

Once upon a time, there was a young man. He decided he wanted to get married and went to his parents to ask for their blessing.
- "Very well, son," said his father. "I will bless you, and you may marry, but only if you bring me a gold coin earned by your own labor."

The young man smiled, thinking that this condition would be very easy to fulfill—he had a gold coin stashed away.

The next day, he took the coin and brought it to his father. His father took the coin and threw it into the river.
- "Well, father, will you bless me to marry now?" asked the young man.
- "No, son. I told you that you must earn the money yourself. You did not earn this coin."
The young man shrugged: how did his father know the truth? After all, he really hadn’t earned that money.

The next day, he asked his mother for a gold coin. He took it and brought it to his father. Again, his father threw the gold into the river. The young man was even more surprised but still asked:
- "Why did you do that? I brought you a gold coin, just as you asked. Will you bless me now?"
And again, his father refused, saying:
- "You did not earn this money."

The young man thought deeply. He realized that this could go on for a long time, and he would never receive his father’s blessing for the wedding. So, he decided to find a job and earn a gold coin himself. Many days passed, and finally, the young man managed to earn a gold coin through his own labor. He brought it to his father.

When his father was about to throw this coin into the river as well, the young man couldn’t bear it—he rushed to him, caught his hand, and said in despair:
- "No, father, don’t do that! I worked hard for many days to earn this coin, and you want to throw it away so easily!"
- "Now, son, I bless you to start a family," said his father.
- "Now you have learned the value of money earned by your own labor, and you will spend it wisely."
And so, the young man got married and never wasted money again. Fairy girl
