The Spirited Bride

One day, a mother-in-law decided to visit her sister for an extended period of time. Before leaving, she called her daughter-in-law and said:

"Here is a piece of fabric. By the time I return, sew a shirt for me."

Two months later, the mother-in-law returned home. She called her daughter-in-law and asked:

"Daughter-in-law, have you sewn the shirt for me? Bring it, I'll put it on."
"I'm almost done," replied the daughter-in-law, "only the hem of the sleeves, the neck, and the sides are left."
